I was introduced to the modeling industry when I was young. I was six years old when I started modeling for local boutiques. After that, modeling became a passion and I worked with many outstanding photographers until "retiring" around 22 years old. During my teen years, I worked at a photographer's studio where I helped with posing, hair, makeup, lighting. Why I never thought about being on the other side of the camera? I am not really sure, to be honest. I guess I didn't know that I had it in me...yet.
As I got older, life got busy! I worked towards and obtained multiple degrees in education and literacy, became a super cool first grade teacher, got married to a really handsome guy, got the best doggo ever, and had my beautiful daughter. So many BIG things happened in just a few years. During this time, photography was still near and dear to my heart. I never forgot the value of good quality pictures and would often reach out to my photographer friends to capture my special moments.
After having my daughter, I quickly realized that I wanted to take good quality photos of her all the time (I mean how could I not...she is just so darn cute). So I did what any sensible woman would do! I bought my own camera and took around a million pictures of my cute baby girl's face. But that's just where it started. I could be the one creating art, capturing moments, making others happy, and making people feel pretty! Being a photographer has changed my life in so many wonderful ways. It has most definitely made me realize the value of a moment in time.
